Summer is certainly here and bringing some intense heat to Loyalsock Township. We all enjoy being outside with family and friends, especially around the picnic tables, pools, and campfires. Each bring their own safety risks and concerns.

As Spring moves into Summer, most of us enjoy spending time outdoors. Many relax in the evenings sharing thoughts and memories with others around a fire while enjoying a burger and toasted marshmallows.

Hello Everyone! We are happy to announce two great and popular fundraisers, so please mark you calendars:October 15, 2022, is our Gun Raffle. Doors Open starting at 3PM with the first drawling starting at 5PM.
On June 4, 2020 at approximately 4:20pm, Station 18 was dispatched to 1250 Pennsylvania Avenue for a reported home on fire. Loyalsock Volunteer Firefighter and Company Vice President Bill Miller and two neighbors rescued an elderly man from his residence moments after it caught fire and before crews...
Late this evening, Engine 18 responded mutual aid to assist South Williamsport Fire Department for possible working fire at 953 Market Street. On arrival crew was sent to the roof to assist with operations on the apartment building roof top.

IMU 18 was dispatched to McNett Township, for a family of five that ended up getting lost along the trails of Devil's Elbow National Area following a thunderstorm on Sunday, May 15th. Family consisted of two adults, three children, and family dog.

On November 6, 2021, members participated in the Lycoming County Veterans Day Parade. We were all astonished to see everyone out support our local community Veterans. From all of us at Loyalsock we want to wish a Happy Veterans Day to all our Veteran and Active Military Service Personnel.
