October is finally here and so is our new Special Unit. Loyalsock Volunteer Fire Company finally received our new 2020 Chevrolet Pick Up truck. Unit was originally ordered at the end of last year and due to Covid-19, delivery was pushed off until early this fall. Members were excited on its delivery as all the emergency lighting and radio communications equipment was installed by our talented members. In house installation saved both the company and community lots of money as these components can be very expensive. Our special unit replaces 2000 era Ford Super Duty Pick Up truck. Primarily the special unit will be used for traffic control and special event coordination.
