We are all sad to see summer end so quickly this year. However many are excited to be returning to see all the teachers and friends at school in the fall. However, have you taken some time to update those emergency contacts for your little ones? Ready.gov has some great fillable information cards that can be placed in your children's backpacks. Site even shares some great resources on talking with your younger kids about safety and helping them remember emergency phone numbers, emergency meeting locations, and tips on practicing for emergencies. There is never a better time to get started, be engaged, and be involved in emergency preparedness.
