Loyalsock Volunteer Fire Company Explorer Program, Explorer Post 18, is open to young adults aged 14-21, from our area, who are interested in “exploring” the field of Fire / Rescue / EMS / Emergency Management. Created as a specialized Explorer Post, partnered with Boy Scouts of America, Explore Post 18 introduces youth to Fire, Rescue, EMS, and Emergency Management fields. Explorers are exposed to the life skills, trainings, and disasters challenging them within our community during the worst of times. Continue to develop and prepare our community our program allows members to explore the fields as possible career fields that provide services back to the community. Allowing members to learn, participate, and venture into the community with life skills to make them successful in and out of the classroom while keeping the community safe has shaped many of our Alumni. Supervised by select Volunteer Members within the company, explorer members will have the multiple opportunities to network, have fun, and plan for their future.
