We are never too old to learn something new, and this includes Fire Safety. Partnering with U.S. Fire Administration, education of fire safety with older adults is just as important with educating our children. Fires can happen at any time and it is essential that everyone is prepared. Older Adults have an increased risk of dying in a fire. Helping to prevent older adult fire deaths in our community is important, so we ask you to talk with our parents about fire safety.

Each year we assist a majority of the nursing homes and assisted living facilities in their evacuation plans, conduct fire evacuation drills and provide fire extinguisher training.
