February 6, 2025-Loyalsock Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 was dispatched to 1739 East Third Street, Williamsport PA, Long John Silver's, for reported working fire. The restaurant was closed at the time of the fire. Engine 18 arrived on scene to find heavy smoke conditions from the exterior. Multiple lines were put into service along with vertical ventilation performed. Besides Station 18, firefighters from the City of Williamsport, South Williamsport, Old Lycoming, Hepburnville, and Hughesville. Pennsylvania State Police ruled the cause of the fire as accidental, "electrical in nature," with the fire broken out between the roof and drop ceiling. Damage was estimated to be around $50,000. Long John Silver's had planned to demolish the structure and build a new restaurant, however it was unknown if they will move up demolition date or make repairs to re-open for period of time before project start.
