Members were kept busy this weekend responding to multiple vehicle accidents in the community.
Saturday Morning, Members responded to a motor vehicle accident with multiple injuries on 5950 Pleasant Valley Road. Crews arrived to find one vehicle over the embankment with multiple occupants still in the vehicle. Crews from Loyalsock, Eldred Township, and Montoursville extricated and removed patients from the SUV. Unfortunately there was one fatality in this incident. Following the first MVA, Crews responded to another crash at 4085 Northway Road with minor injuries. Crews assisted EMS with patient care and cleared the roadway from hazards. Later that evening, members responded to another car crash at the intersection of Reed Street and Westminster Drive. Crews found one car hit a parked car on Westminster Drive.
Sunday afternoon, members responded to a small head in collision at the intersection of Northway Road and East Third Street. Rescue 18 responded and crew assisted MICU 18 with patient care and performed hazard control.
